The Caravana signed a joint letter in July, expressing deep concern  for the safety of victims’ families, lawyers and human rights groups in relation to the ‘false positive’ extrajudicial execution case  of Darvey Mosquera Castillo and Alex Hernandez Ramirez Hurtado. We are particularly concerned for the safety of Alfamir Castillo, mother of Darvey Mosquera Castillo, human rights lawyers Jorge Molano and German Romero, and Asociacion Nomadesc. All of the above have been the subject of death threats and harassment since the inception of the court case.
